BetterBNC saves time for your judges.

We repeatedly hear from organizations looking for an easier contest experience for judges who volunteer their time and energy to evaluate entries. Some platforms require that judges download all entries in their category before reviewing which is time consuming, cumbersome and eats up space on their own computers.

With BetterBNC judges simply click on links to review entries hosted online. The process is fast and easy — and it’s one of the reasons we receive so many customer referrals from individuals who have used the platform to judge contests.  Judges want to be able to use their valuable time reviewing and commenting on your entries rather than waiting on downloads.

Schedule your complimentary BetterBNC demo today and we can show you how easy the judging experience can be from the judges perspective.  The platform is also easy and intuitive for contestants and your contest administrator.  Email karen@smalltownpapers.com to take a look.

Your judges want an easier way to evaluate entries.

computerWe had a great call with an organization looking at BetterBNC this week.  They were referred to us by one of their contest judges who said they needed to find a better way to run their contest – especially for the judges.

The judge had used BetterBNC to judge another contest and gave the platform a strong endorsement saying it would alleviate so many of the issues that existed.  We hear this often.  BetterBNC has worked hard to ensure a smooth and efficient process for everyone involved – particularly judges who donate their time and expertise to the awards program.

The organization was surprised to learn that moving to BetterBNC was an easy and affordable process.  Step one is to set up a demo to learn how the platform can streamline the contest process. BetterBNC builds the contest for organizations so it’s ready to go when you’re ready to issue your call for entries.  The administrator can make any needed changes through the intuitive dashboard and all training and support for the year is included – no surprise charges for customer and tech support.

Why does your contest need Integrated Judging?

IntegratedWell, it made Thompson Writing’s list of overused business buzzwords – Integrated. You know it’s an important concept but when it comes to an online contest platform, what does it really mean? It depends on who you ask.

One of the BetterBNC features that administrators most appreciate is the platform’s Integrated Judging. For BetterBNC, integration means that the elements of the platform are linked and coordinated. For example, our contest administrators are always able to see real-time judging updates and judging reports are easily generated and exported on demand.

As administrator, you manage the judging assignments and monitor progress from your dashboard. Want to see how judging is progressing? Simply pull up a table that displays judging progress in real-time.

When judging has been completed, easily view comprehensive results in tables or export judging reports in various styles and formats.

Integrated judging is earning high marks from BetterBNC contest administrators and judges alike.

Mary Worland with the Michigan Association of Broadcasters appreciates how easy it is for all involved saying, “It’s so user-friendly, just drag and drop, and it’s also so much easier to download and export reports for ourselves and the auditors.”

Jack Dvorak from the Bloomington Press Club used BetterBNC to judge a contest and told us, “I have used the program as a judge and find it easy to use, efficient and effective.”

A Better Experience for Your Contest Judges

Contest administrators repeatedly tell us that it is critical that their contests are easy and intuitive for busy judges who volunteer their time to review and evaluate entries.  BetterBNC works to ensure a smooth experience for judges like Jack Dvorak who has used the platform to judge contests.  Jack tell us, “I find {BetterBNC] easy to use, efficient and effective.”

Now, BetterBNC is going even further to improve the experience for contest judges.   Judges have said they want an intuitive and easy way to review their assigned entries and ultimately select category winners.  As well, they want to be able to judge from any device.

BetterBNC has now placed the judging platform on a dedicated server to ensure performance during peak judging periods.  Linking to entries saves judges the time of downloading files to review and contest administrators are able to adjust settings so judges can choose first through fourth place or no winner.

Also part of the newly released BetterBNC 5.0, the judges welcome page has been redesigned and now includes a countdown reminding them which assignments have been completed.
